Hi,

This was an interesting journey getting here. Did it even work? Anyone out there?

Test. There's a book set in a time long ago. I know libraries have a copy, also forgetful travelers forget theirs in the hotel nightstand drawer. The protagonist is Jesus, and it contains fish and bread cuisine. There are references to "cast pearls before swine," and "jumping Jehoshaphat."

Thank you

If you mean that there's nothing posted yet, keep in mind that the group has only been open for 10.5 hours as I am writing this reply. I would give it a few days to a couple weeks, to give people a chance to notice that it exists. :)

It also occurred to me belatedly that this might have been perhaps not the best time to open the group, as a lot of people might be busy with the holiday, but it's too late to change that now.

I think that particular book comes in Braille version too.

It's a long shot, but there was this big thick book where you could find almost anything...way out of print though. Could it be "The Yellow Pages" by the Phone Company? *grin*

I'm glad this is opening up here! It's always fun to play treasure hunt.

Not sure. Is it the Bhagavad Gita? The Koran? I dunno, this is hard.

I remember that book! I think it's actually an anthology. It's interesting because it's filled with unreliable narrators. :)

I'm thrown by the "jumping Jehosaphat" bit-- maybe a detail from some fan-fic, not the original work?

Ah, I hadn't thought about it, but of course being a palace official then and there would make one jumpy-- all those different sons and mothers coming around trying to recruit one's fealty....

I know that one. I find it highly illogical. :-)
