Tags

We now have tags for genres. (Copied over from the LJ group.) I will endeavor add more categories in the next week or two. Right now I gotta run, got a lot to do today!

Please let me know if anything is missing, or if something isn't working correctly, etc.

The tags may be in place, but I'm not seeing them; are they visible only to mods?

They should be visible to everyone, even non-members.

There is a list of existing tags down on the left side; do you have that? It's currently under the calendar, but I'm gonna look into editing the journal style and maybe switch those around.

When you post a new entry, DW doesn't give you a list of tags to choose from the way LJ does, but once you've posted the entry, you can click on "edit tags" and that will let you pick from a list of all existing tags. That's the one thing I don't like on DW; I wish they had the option right on the "post/edit entry" page.

Ah, now I see it; I'd not known about the difference in DW and LJ options. I'm hazarding a guess that your plan is to add tags as required, as you go along?

I'm actually working on copying over categories right now, so that should be finished today. :)

I think I will not copy over authors unless members ask for it, since people who post here generally can't remember the author's name anyway.

I can add more tags later, too, but I wanted to have most of it available already.
