findthatbookI don’t remember much about this book, just the cover has a dragon on it , either looking down from a mountain peak or the top of a building.
The only part of the story besides vague snippets that I remember is the beginning. The main character either goes into the cellar to get something or to hide from the dragon but he is the only survivor of a dragon attack? The whole village is gone. That is all I remember. Been looking for this book for days.

Date: October 19th, 2019 23:38 (UTC)Phrases you might use to search are "Dragonriders of Pern" or "McCaffrey". I have read from the beginning of the series until Masterharper of Pern. Masterharper might begin that way, but rest, I am sure, do not. Here's a bibliograhpy of her work:
