Hi!

I’m trying to find a book I read either in 2008 or 2012. It was about a Russian duchess or someone who had worked for the Romanovs. She mentions the winter palace a couple times. She pretends to be German to hide the fact that she’s Russian. And she works in a dressmaker shop. She falls in love with an American man and then World War I breaks out.
